Strategic Alliances

EACS is proud to be associated with the following list of strategic, professional affiliates.  Each entity carries its own independent business identity and assists EACS in satisfying its primary mission of insurance consulting and coverage underwriting for the Vineyard and Winery industry.

These strategic alliances are key to EACS's successful placement of specific insurance products and services within the growing 'vine and wine' world:

Marshall & Sterling Insurance, a managing general agency established in 1864 . . . and one of the largest independent insurance agencies in the nation . . . www.marshallsterling.com;

Live Asset Insurance, a division of Marshall & Sterling, who created and manages the nation's most comprehensive private insurance program for "growing plant material," called Live Asset Insurance . . . www.liveassetinsurance.com;

Horticultural Asset Management, Inc. (HMI), who provides viticulture, horticultural and arborist inspections, objective assessments, and standardized replacement cost value-tables for the products of Live Asset Insurance . . . www.hmiadvantage.com;

Northwestern Insurance Agency (NIA), an independent retail insurance agency established in 1982, offering full service multi-line property and casualty insurance products and risk management.  For many years, NIA has successfully represented numerous 'A+' rated and admitted insurers, as well as a set of strategic alliances with Excess and Surplus Line Brokers.

On-site Risk Analysis

An on-site risk analysis, coordinated with one or more of the affiliate companies noted above, is used as a primary underwriting tool, to confirm noted degrees of loss exposure.

Cost and timing for such surveys will vary  and be predicated on the operating size of the specific risk-location being analyzed.

Insurance Premium Costs

Because of varying degrees of individual risk-exposures and analysis expense, each Vineyard and Winery insurance program is specifically designed on a per account basis.

Certain minimum premiums and deductibles are customary and will be outlined as part of the overall insurance package presented.
